>On to Down Under

>It has been a blessed time in S Africa. I had the chance to minister at 2 different churches and God moved mightily each time. And I had a chance to spend time with dear friends whom I was staying with. YAY God for running water too!

Things have been very difficult on the base in Sudan. Officials are trying to seize almost half our land, our Sudanese director is failing rapidly in his battle with cancer, the atmosphere is thick with violence as the LRA is still causing much trouble just to our west in DRC, the team moved 90 children and mama’s into still unfinished land: it has been an intense time. I am so proud of our missionary team who are pressing into Jesus and seeing His Kingdom come in the middle of extremely trying circumstances.

A fun story on a personal note. Jesus told me to begin painting this year. Hmmm ok. In my spare time. Well the woman who came with my friend to pick me up at the airport was a professional artist. So I took my first painting “lesson” here and she said I was a natural. Then she took me to a HUGE art shop and I am now the proud owner of a full set of acrylics and water colors in top of the line quality all provided and paid for by Papa- as well as supplies to begin instructing the kids with when I return. I plan to bring 1-2 of them over to my house at a time and use art as a way for them to express their hearts and a relationship building tool.

I am completely excited about my time in Brisbane and Gold Goast; more than I have been in a very long time. There are so many promises there. Things Papa wants to do in me for me to bring home as well as to minister out of while there. I will be ministering about 6 times in various venues. I have such an expectancy- such a GREAT expectancy. I am pretty tired as well. OK that is a crazy understatement. I feel like a year of rest in the natural could not even begin to get my energy back to where I’d like it. Haha! Papa, I need a vacation in heaven and some supernatural restoration!

He is so faithful to give us what we need and I am trusting Him for all that I and our team in Sudan needs in my absence. In the midst of the storm, heaven invites us to dance. Please pray for our team and for me as I travel. I will be in near daily contact with them as possible. Thank you for loving and standing with us.

I am off to down under- as soon as I pack!
