After a traumatic brain injury and the isolation of the pandemic, I missed the kind of creative community I'd experienced overseas. So instead of doing a 100-day project by myself, in 2024 I invited the internet to join me.
For one hundred days, I shared simple, one-word wonder prompts and sent a free weekly email filled with encouragement and creative inspiration. The prompts were intentionally open-ended, making it easy for anyone to participate, whether they considered themselves an artist or not.
More than 11,000 people joined the project, sharing nearly 20,000 pieces of art and photography inspired by the prompts.
What began as a simple personal project became a thriving creative community built one prompt, one piece of artwork, and one encouraging interaction at a time. Below is a sample of the prompts, responses, and community feedback.
